‘This Deep Panic’ – New Release Coming Soon
Categories: Interviews
This Deep Panic will be released soon. A stand-alone novel set in the Pacific Northwest, it combines myth and reality when a catastrophic earthquake releases age-old creatures that haven’t fed in generations. This book may not be suitable for children under age fourteen because of scary themes and some language.
“There are monsters of the imagination and monsters who walk beside us. In This Deep Panic, author Lisa Stowe masterfully laces the human and natural horrors of a devastating earthquake with horrors the human mind has conceived over the millennia. Myth and reality mingle in this post-apocalyptic tale that will have you wondering long after you’ve turned the last page; what would I, or the people I believe I know well, do when faced with the unthinkable?” ~Susan Schreyer, author of the Thea Campbell Mystery series
“She’s done it again! Lisa Stowe extends her range and richness. This complex and exciting dark story is told with extraordinary vividness as it draws on tales and folklore, and is skillfully crafted and imagined with a cast of richly drawn characters and a strong sense of place. This Deep Panic will stay with you for years—-I guarantee it.” ~Gloria Two-Feathers, award winning author
Here is the working cover. I hope you will enjoy this story. It’s been the biggest challenge I’ve faced in writing so far.
