“Living in the midst of a designated wilderness allows me to sink into a space where stories flow. I started this blog as a place to hear those stories. My hope is that we can sit back, as if gathering around a warm fire with friends, and chat about words.
The photos here are an example of the beauty that can be found daily in my neck of the woods.
If you would like to learn more about the area I’m lucky enough to call home, do an image search on any of the following: the Skykomish River, the Wild Sky designated wilderness, Mt. Index, Lake Serene, whitewater rafting along the Skykomish, rock climbing on the Index Town Wall, or hiking the Cascade mountains and the Pacific Crest Trail. The Pacific Northwest is my home and it is truly a place of stories and a magical area.”
